Optical centration: from measurement to fitting
Centration positions lens references relative to the eyes and adjusted frame, following the lens design and manufacturer instructions.
What to record
Organize monocular measurements, fitting heights and right/left identification. Optical centre, fitting cross and reference point are not interchangeable for every design.
Verification workflow
Adjust the frame, record measurements, verify orientation and send the context to the laboratory. After mounting, check physical references and wearer comfort.
Limit
A generic fitting height does not replace the progressive design guide. The public tool organizes concepts; mounting approval requires professional verification.
